Mary began her professional writing career in 1977 when her first feature story, a travel article about a new Mexican vacation destination called Cancun appeared in the South Middlesex Sunday News. The following year she realized a lifelong dream when her first book was published. She's the author of six adult novels and two children's books as well as numerous short stories, magazine articles, and poems.
